We run a pretty simple service, so what we do with information is pretty simple.
This is how we collect information and what we do with it:
1. Through a feedback form, and a contact form.
The form takes your name, email, subject (contact form) and message. This information is only used to reply to you, or in the case of feedback, to improve our service, and is not stored.
2. Through a sign-up form for a mailing list.
This form takes your first name and email, which is stored only with our email provider MailChimp. We send out updates when new articles are posted, as well as extra resources and conversation that only our mailing list receive. You can unsubscribe at any time, at the bottom of every email is an unsubscribe button.
3. Through the comments section.
An inbuilt common function of wordpress, this is managed by WordPress’ system, which stores your account information, what you said in your comment, and the IP it was sent from. The IP allows the blocking of people leaving rude or otherwise unacceptable comments on the site. This information is stored, but not used. We will reply to comments by leaving another comment, not by direct contact.
4. Through Analytics.
We use Google Analytics and SumoMe to get insight into how people use our site. This information is anonymous and can’t be linked to you. It is very helpful though, we want to make this site really useful, so seeing what people are having trouble finding, which pages don’t get much time spent on them and which do helps guide us.
We do not give any of the information we collect to any 3rd parties.
